Signs Your Office Floor Needs Recoating

• Alcohol burns: Alcohol-based hand sanitizers mark the finish of a floor when they drip, eroding the coating and reducing the protective layer of your floor. Check near desks and sanitization stations. 

• Chemical burns: If your facility utilizes betadine, iodine and/or bleach, check for dull areas where these chemicals are used and/or stored.

• Dullness: COVID-19 brought increased disinfection protocols. If your facility has been using low PH disinfecting systems, you may find your floor looking dull and lifeless.

• Time since the last scrub and recoat: Professional cleaners recommend that floors be scrubbed and recoated every five to six months.
